Oil filter Housing Gasket Set- 11428583896

This part is listed by BMW as BMW part number 11428583896 (11 42 8 583 896) and is described as the set of gaskets between the oil filter housing (OFH) and the engine block on all B58 engines (B58A, B58C, B58D, B58TU). These gaskets seal the oil filter housing to the engine. If you're doing any work around the oil filter or oil cooler, these gaskets will be essential. Because a lot of components here are plastic there could be more than one cause for a B58 oil leak.

Special note: the engine must be primed with oil circulation before starting the engine!

Fluid note: since the oil heat exchanger uses engine coolant, you will need to have fresh coolant on hand in addition to new oil.
