MMX Performance N55 F2X / F3X Oil Catch Can Kit

The MMX Performance N55  F2X / F3X Oil Catch Can Kit for BMW F2x & F3x N55-powered M135i I M235i I 335i I 435i has been engineered to separate unwanted oil from the PCV system before it is recirculated back into the intake. Keep your intercooler and inlet tracts clear of oil build-up for a cleaner, more reliable and better performing engine. 

The Catch Can has been engineered to ensure that the engine is running at its optimum performance. By separating unwanted oil from the PCV (Positive Crankcase Ventilation) system before it can be recirculated back into the intake, the result is a cleaner, more reliable and better performing engine.

Direct-injection engine such as the N55 are well known to suffer with sludge and carbon build-up on the backs of the inlet valves, ultimately leading to quite significant drops in power and efficiency of the motor over the years. This is where our Catch Can comes in.

By catching unwanted oil and water vapor through the catch can's filter and separation process, the intake air carries vastly less oil mist in it, providing clean airflow through the inlet manifold and resulting in a higher ratio of oxygen being burnt for a better and more efficient combustion process. Just as importantly, this keeps your intercooler and inlet tracts clear of oil build-up over the long-term.

As with all MMR components, our Catch Can Kit has been carefully designed and thoroughly proven on road and track to offer added performance, allow easy installation and enhanced aesthetics too.

The T-6061 Catch Can housing, anodized in our trademark MMR high-gloss black, is located on the inner wing using our precision made billet bracket for easy installation, whilst thanks to the bespoke motorsport-spec hoses and crimped race fittings, installation couldn't be any more straightforward - we've even replicated the more complex connector on the cam cover in billet aluminum!

Checking the level for any oil removed from the intake system is easy thanks to the integral dipstick.

NOTE: Does NOT fit vehicles with auxiliary oil cooler (ex: N55-powered M2)
