Important Fitment Note: This kit is only for customers running aftermarket wheels that require Ball Seat nuts. Most BMW owners will need the Conical Seat nuts instead. Product Details

• M14x1.25 heat-treated high carbon steel studs with chrome plated finish
• Ball seat lug nuts in a black gloss anodized finish
• Two stud lengths available:
  • 70mm: No spacers or up to 10mm spacers
  • 80mm: 10mm to 20mm spacers
• Exceeds OEM bolt strength for safety and durability
• Max vehicle weight rating: 2500 kg

Installation Notes

1. Remove wheels and clean hub threads and the short ends of the new studs with a suitable solvent (e.g., brake cleaner). Ensure threads are free of dirt and grease.
2. Confirm the stud shank passes cleanly through the brake disc holes and does not bottom on the disc.
3. Apply a thin coat of high-temperature threadlocker (Loctite Blue 2422 or equivalent, rated to 650°F) to the short end threads.
4. Using a 6mm Allen key, screw the short end of each stud into the hub until the shank seats. Do not overtighten. Tighten to around 30 ft-lbs (40 Nm).
5. Allow approximately three hours for the threadlocker to cure fully.
6. Refit wheels using a 19mm socket and torque the nuts to the factory specification for the original lug bolts.
7. Recheck nut torque after about 30 minutes of driving once the assembly has reached operating temperature.

Care Instructions

• This kit is not a locking or security solution.
• Do not use acidic, alkaline, solvent-based, or abrasive cleaners on anodized nuts.
• Use only pH-balanced soap and water. Avoid commercial carwashes that use aggressive chemicals.

Seat Type Guidance

• Ball Seat: Rare in the aftermarket; confirm if your wheels specify ball seat nuts.
