The Eventuri Black Carbon Intake System for the BMW G2X and G42 M40i models equipped with the B58 engine (Post November 2018) has been engineered to deliver measurable performance improvements through optimized airflow, reduced intake temperatures, and enhanced turbo efficiency. Constructed from prepreg carbon fiber and manufactured to Eventuri’s exacting standards, this intake system provides OEM-level fitment while elevating both engine response and engine bay aesthetics.

Turbocharged engines are highly sensitive to heat and airflow restriction. To combat these challenges, Eventuri developed a fully sealed carbon airbox designed to shield the filter from radiant engine heat while maintaining a consistent supply of cold air. The system utilizes dual cold air feeds, drawing airflow from the factory front intake location while incorporating an additional feed from the wheel arch. This configuration ensures the turbo receives cooler, denser air to support consistent performance under load.

Replacing the factory convoluted intake tract is a precision-formed carbon fiber inlet tube engineered to create a smooth and uninterrupted airflow path from the filter to the turbo inlet. By minimizing turbulence and restriction, the system promotes improved throttle response and allows the turbocharger to operate more efficiently across the rev range.

A bespoke high-flow dry cone filter with increased surface area further enhances airflow while maintaining excellent filtration performance. Complementing the sealed airbox is a gold reflective heat shield, strategically designed to reduce radiative heat transfer from surrounding engine components.

The result is an intake system that not only sharpens induction sound but also supports improved engine efficiency without compromising refinement. Designed specifically for Post November 2018 vehicles, this version reflects the updated factory configuration to ensure precise compatibility.
