The Eventuri BMW F90 M5 / F9X M8 Black Carbon Intake System – V2 is a high-performance induction upgrade engineered specifically for BMW’s twin-turbo S63 V8 platform. Developed through extensive real-world testing and advanced airflow simulation, this system delivers consistent performance gains while maintaining low intake air temperatures across all driving conditions.
Unlike open-element designs, the Eventuri intake features sealed carbon fiber filter housings that isolate the intake charge from engine bay heat. Precision-designed shrouds, forward-facing air scoops, and integrated heat shields work together to supply a continuous flow of cool, ambient air, minimizing heat soak during low-speed and stop-and-go driving.
Large front air scoops feed fresh air directly into the intake system, while gold heat-reflective shields with integrated airflow guides efficiently channel incoming air toward the filters. This design allows the system to maintain unrestricted airflow at speed while keeping intake air temperatures stable.
To further improve efficiency, the inlet tubes have been redesigned with over a 30% increase in cross-sectional area compared to the factory intake, even through the tight strut brace openings. Reduced restriction allows the turbochargers to operate more efficiently, lowering wastegate duty cycles and improving throttle response.
