The Eventuri BMW E9X M3 (S65) Black Carbon Intake System – Gloss is a precision-engineered airflow upgrade developed to enhance the performance and induction character of BMW M’s legendary naturally aspirated V8. Designed specifically for the high-revving 4.0L S65 engine, this system refines the factory intake architecture while preserving the balance, drivability, and responsiveness that define the E9X M3.

While the OEM airbox is well engineered, detailed analysis identified airflow restrictions downstream that limit the engine’s breathing efficiency, particularly at higher RPM where the S65 thrives. Eventuri addressed these constraints by replacing the restrictive factory inlet tube with a carefully sculpted carbon fiber intake tube designed to improve airflow velocity and reduce pressure loss without disrupting the factory airbox strategy.

To further optimize airflow, the system incorporates a dedicated carbon fiber inlet scoop which increases the volume of ambient air entering the airbox. This enhanced air supply helps reduce intake air temperatures versus stock while supporting stronger, more consistent performance under load.

Rather than chasing peak numbers at the expense of drivability, Eventuri engineered this intake as a complete and balanced solution. The result is measurable gains in horsepower and torque, sharper throttle response, and improved acceleration, all while maintaining OEM-level refinement.
