Your Mini's front main seal (or crankshaft seal) can be a common leak item and often results in oil leaks under your car. This seal is most commonly replaced during timing chain services but it can also require replacement separately if it were to start leaking. This shaft seal mounts on the engine block upper and lower halves and is located on side away from the transmission.
