BMW Motor And Trans Mount Set, Aluminum – E36, E46, Z3, Z4

Our BMW E36, E46, Z3, Z4 Aluminum Motor and Trans Mounts work together to eliminate all engine and transmission movement for effective power transfer through the drivetrain. Designed for racing, our bolt-through solid aluminum mounts are engineered to be both strong and lightweight. The stock rubber motor and trans mounts deflect as torque moves through the drivetrain, allowing the engine and transmission to move. Eliminate this drivetrain movement with our BMW E36, E46, Z3, Z4 aluminum motor and trans mount set.

AKG’s aluminum motor mounts are designed to lower the motor by 10mm (if desired, they can be spaced back to the original height of 65mm).

Although our solid aluminum engine and transmission mounts are the hardest available and have a longer life span than other mounts, they are also extremely harsh and unforgiving on the chassis. Cracks may occur around the mount. Any area using aluminum mounts should be reinforced and consistently checked before/after each race.

Made of solid CNC’d 6061- T6 aluminum. Engineered for a perfect fit. Hardware included. Set of two engine mounts and two trans mounts.
