The AutoTecknic Dry Carbon Fiber Battery Terminal Cover features a high-quality 3K twill weave pre-preg carbon fiber that aesthetically improves the engine bay appearance and differentiates it from the OEM. Besides the mounting tabs, it's made of 100% carbon fiber, which is lighter in weight and has higher tensile strength.
Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This carbon is first placed into a mold and then a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to cure appropriately.
