Located in the right side of the fuel tank, this fuel pump is responsible for supplying fuel to the engine. If your BMW is lacking power or won't start at all it could be due to a failed fuel pump. Before condemning the fuel pump we recommend inspecting the fuel pump relay. If the fuel pump relay is getting power and sending power to the fuel pump and the fuel pump will not turn on the fuel pump is likely the issue. We recommend replacing the fuel pump relay when installing a new fuel pump.
