Description
A bad cam sensor can cause a variety of problems from hard starting to stalling at low speeds. Cam sensor replacement has been known to cure many drivabilty issues.
Uses O-ring # 12 141 748 398 (not included)
A faulty camshaft position sensor causes a variety of issues including hard starts or stalling at low speeds. You may also have a service engine soon light on which can have a variety of codes associated with this sensors failure.
This is from the OE Supplier to BMW. It is the exact part you get from the BMW dealer, only the BMW logo has been scratched off. This is done for trademark purposes so that they can supply directly to outside suppliers.
We suggest replacing the camshaft position sensor o-ring to prevent potential oil leaks after replacement: 12141748398
